PREMIER SERIES (OFFICIAL RANKING EVENTS)

In addition to our weekly tournaments, we host PREMIER TOURNAMENTS on selected weekends. These are two-day events at premier facilities that attract great (Elite, competitive & developmental) competition as the results will directly impact our Power Rankings! We are proud to announce that all of our Premier Tournaments are qualifiers for the California State Games in July 2022 & the TOC (Tournament of Champions) in August 2022.

The California State Games Championships will be held in San Diego, CA on July 15-17, 2022. From The Opening Ceremonies at Qualcomm Stadium (where young athletes of multiple sports parade through) to the torch lighting ceremony and the competition of playing teams from all over California who have also qualified, this tournament is an experience like no other! The TOC (Tournament of Champions) is our final ranking event of the season and will be held in multiple cities in the San Francisco Bay Area on August 27-28, 2022! We have done our best to accommodate team requests.  It was impossible to accommodate every request for times, coaching multiple teams etc.  Paid requests (in order received) were given priority.  We will not make any changes to the schedule unless there is an error that affects the integrity of the tournament.

Teams who are competing in our ranking events MUST complete our online form before their first game begins.  Teams who do not submit an online roster risk the forfeiture of their games (should a player be protested/challenged for their age/grade). All teams should have their age/grade documents with them at the tournament. We will only ask to see the documents if a player on your team is challenged or protested. BAS Tournaments takes pride in providing a safe, fun, fair and competitive environment for teams to compete in.  We offer a "FREE AGE/GRADE PROTEST" policy to support our commitment to maintain the integrity of our tournaments!

*** PROOF OF AGE/GRADE ***

All Coaches/Team Coordinators must have proper documentation for their players (birth certificates and/or report cards) with them at the tournament. Teams who are unable to provide proof of age/grade for their players, risk the forfeiture of their games.

Only head coaches are allowed to challenge the legitimacy or eligibility of an opposing player. Fans, parents, and assistant coaches are not allowed to make an official protest. All protests must be filed before the game, at halftime or immediately after a game. But, NEVER during the game.

The team who is protesting must also be able to provide proof of age/grade for their players. 

In the event that a player is challenged, the team being protested must be able to provide proof of age/grade for any player(s) being questioned.  If the team is unable to provide the proper documentation (a birth certificate and/or report card) the result will be the forfeit of the game(s) in which the player participated in.

NOTE: We reserve the right to ask a protested player for their name, age, birth date and grade to confirm that it matches their documents.

If you have any issues with the table, refs or other teams, please send your assistant coach to get the tournament director at the facility. 

Fall Rec League - September 26, 2021 to October 24, 2021

 FALL REC LEAGUE

SEPTEMBER 26, 2021 TO OCTOBER 24, 2021

@ West Contra Costa Salesian Boys & Girls Club in Richmond, CA

We are accepting players of all skill levels! This is a fun recreational league for players ages 7 through 14 years old. Each player will be evaluated and placed on a team in their appropriate age division. From beginner level to the more experienced players, we have a spot for everyone in our youth basketball league!  We will be developing basketball skills, but more importantly we will be focused on making sure that the kids have FUN!!!

Games & practices will be on Sundays only!

Evaluations will be September 15-16, 2021 from 6:00pm-7:00pm.

Players would only need to be evaluated on one of the days. 

Players who participated in the 2021 summer league do not have to come to the evaluations.

Registration closes on September 16, 2021.

League play will start Sunday, September 26, 2021.

$150 for non-Boys Club members**

Scholarships may be available to those who qualify.

* includes reversible jersey, 5 game minimum, fundamental coaching and lots of fun!

**includes annual Boys Club membership fee for full access to the Boys Club year-round and the opportunity to join other activities.

As an added benefit to joining the league, players will have access to the Boys Club all year round as it includes an annual membership!  Players can also take advantage of the Boys Club’s after school programs for a year. Weekly activities include basketball, baseball, football, karate, DIY Stem, art, drama and much more!
